Did you know?

That feeling of euphoria you get when you fall in love is the same feeling that drug users experience, according to one study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine. Both actions trigger the release of happy hormones like dopamine, oxytocin, and adrenaline, giving you a natural high (that you hopefully never come down from).

As a busy single mom, I usually don't really have time for my own. One day, about a year ago, my mom surprised me with that Mingle ticket to Bali because she knew how much I loved the island when I went there with my ex husband. When I understood that I will go there with somebody I have no idea of I sincerely thought of returning the ticket. I wasn't looking for a relationship. And thank God I didn't listen to myself and went there. Cameron and I clicked immediately!
We went to this beautiful hotel in Sicily, with an astonishing view and spa. They also arranged for us to visit the opera and to scuba dive in the cristal clear waters surrounding the islad. And the romantic dinner a day before we leave was just the cherry on the top!
We're both single parents, both divorced, tired of work, looking for something that will get us out of the routine for a bit. A few weeks after the trip I moved to his place with my little boy Jimmy, who now has a bigger brother that he loves. I haven't been so happy in my entire life!

I won't lie... I was a bit skeptical at first about all of the traveling by train, meeting a person I don't know and spending a week with them. But Mingle surprised me.
No, me and Jennifer didn't start a relationship after the trip but we are still pretty good friends. Both of us enjoy hiking and we promised each other that we will definitely go explore the rest of the Hawaiian Islands. It was definitely worth it!

Before Mingle I was pretty sure I am going to die alone. Or at least that's what my friends constantly joked about. But that trip to Greece is the reason why I met my wife. And tomorrow is our 1-year anniversary!
